Premarital Counselling
Individuals from Christian and Catholic faith backgrounds often find premarital counseling beneficial in establishing a robust foundation for their upcoming marriage.
Prospective couples, regardless of their faith, frequently seek premarital counseling to enhance self-awareness and mutual understanding as they prepare for marriage, a stage that may follow various life experiences, including meeting online and developing a romantic relationship.
Premarital counseling assists engaged couples in recognizing potential interpersonal dynamics, while inadvertently perpetuating certain misconceptions about marriage. By fostering effective communication, conflict resolution skills, and preparation for an optimal marital relationship, couples can establish a stronger foundation.
Furthermore, remarried couples often seek premarital counseling to cultivate a healthy and stable foundation for their union, leveraging past individual experiences and collaborative interactions to navigate potential challenges and build a resilient partnership.
The PREPARE/ENRICH Premarital Assessment, developed by Dr. David Olson, a leading U.S. counseling expert, leverages marriage and family therapy principles to assist partners in identifying relationship strengths and areas for development.
Utilizing the PREPARE/ENRICH assessment scale report, counselors collaborate with marriage professionals to guide prospective couples in exploring the influence of their families of origin on their future marriage, fostering mutual understanding, enhancing communication and adaptability, preparing for married life, and cultivating a stable and harmonious marital relationship.
Leveraging online counseling interviews, our objective is to provide individuals across diverse demographics and geographical locations with accessible opportunities for engagement, support, and guidance, thereby facilitating their progression through various life stages within their respective environments.
